New Liberal candidate Briony Penn has asked Saanich-Gulf Islands MP and Natural Resources Minister Gary Lunn to fully restore the previous Liberal government’s EnerGuide Program, a national home energy program. Lunn has restored the program, but with only 20% of previous funding, according to the Island Tides, May 17 edition on page 10. To fully reinstate the program would be an opportunity for Gary Lunn to ‘Show real leadership on climate change’.
