From the “Top 50 things to do to stop global warming”, here are 10:

1. Use a clothesline or carousel in nice weather, instead of the dryer.

2. Buy products in packaging with re-cycling or re-use in mind.

3. Plant a tree.

4. Buy locally.

5. Eat less meat.

6. Reduce the number of miles you drive by walking, biking, carpooling, and planning shopping trips ahead.

7. Check your tires to ensure recommended pressure is maintained.

8. Choose a fuel efficient vehicle.

9. Fly less. Consider taking that holiday closer to home.

10. Invest ethically.
