August 1 – September 7, 2009
At Morning Bay Vineyard & Estate Winery

Over the summer the Winery is featuring five different local artists in its concrete and glass barrel room.  “The Colour of Music” will be Eha’s third annual show at the Winery; attendance has been high at the previous shows and numerous paintings were sold at each.  Her work is also displayed at the Winery throughout the year.
The Winery is located at 6621 Harbour Hill Drive, Pender Island, BC.  Contact info:, 250-629-8351.

The Colour of Music” features generously sized acrylic paintings, each inspired by an individual piece of music.  Examples of inspirations for the works are “Summertime” by Sam Cooke, “Serenade in B-flat” by Amadeus Mozart, “Wishing it Was” by Carlos Santana, “Shoop” by Salt-n-Peppa, and “Samba Pa Ti” (shown above) by Santana.

Posters with various images from the show will be sold with 50% of proceeds going to a children’s art program.
